I can never catch a break with anything on this orange car. I had to replace the Holley rebuilt Carter carb yesterday that was on the car for a month. It was leaking fuel at the throttle shaft. I just can't seem to make any headway no matter what I do or how hard I try. This carb must have had other internal issues because after I installed it and set it up the car ran so much better than the previous carb. It couldn't be the way I set up the previous carb either as I have been doing this for over 40 years. I moved the starter solenoid 3 inches lower on the fender well yesterday for room to install the remote battery cut off switch and Acell super coil. I also lowered the factory clamp on the wheel well that holds the heater hoses so I have more clearance to mount the custom made bracket to the shock mount that will hold the horn relay, seat belt interlock bypass switch and ballast resister for the Acell super coil. Hopefully I will be able to get started on installing and making the mods to install all these parts tomorrow as it is going to rain here again today. My back is finally starting to feel better after a week of agony. Have a good day all. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos.
