I would imagine since it was parked in the field since 1974 that the tires are all flat and it has or almost has sunken into the dirt. Here in N.Y. that is a death sentance to the floors and lower body. I watched helplessly as a 68 Javeliin rusted away before my eyes for 5 years across from where I worked. It was a running 343 4 BBL 4 speed car wen it was parked and nothng but a rusted hulk when it disappeared. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos. As much as I would like to see it fixed up I doubt if it is feasible
monetary wise after being left in a field since 1974. It would be a good
candidate to clone or re-vin in my opinion.

--- Begin Message ---I may add that SC/360 is a rare 'carry over color' from 1970, Golden Lime

Metallic. This is what I wrote him:
"Thanks for the reply info and photo, will be updating the SC/360 Registry
either late this month or early next. You car appears from the photo to be a
Golden Lime Metallic. That is funny as AMC if I recall the story right, they
got such a great ceal on that color it seemed 1/2 of production for 1971 was
painted that, everything from Ambos, AMXs, you name it. And they had a lot
left over so it was what is called a carry over color for 1971. Then it was
gone forever. I hate that color but if done right, and on a nice sunny
day....it is one of the most neatest colors AMC put on a vehicle, lots of
deep sparkle. Take care,"
I also wish to add that he is a original owner and I probably talked him
into fixing it up after a series of emails. Time will tell.
