Thansk Doc, good job on the Motorola to Delco conversion. Not only would I
be as bold as to suggest you send it to AIM, but also make copies and send
it to AMO, NAMDRA and AMCRC. That way it is maximum exposure and will
undoubtedly help a whole lot more AMCers who are considering doing this
conversion. A cheap way to do photos is to get a disposable camera, take 5
shots of one item, then 5 shots of another angle, and so forth, get it
developed, then throw in the photos (2-4 different ones) in each envelope
with a copy of the article. As a editor for 11 years, I can tell you that
the national AMC rags are dying for people to send them ANYTHING AMC
related.

Rosa, how about some nice photos of your hatchback, or Davis and others, how
about a nice article about racing classes, or your ET's or even about your
car. Lu, Terry, some of you folks only need to type up a shorty about your
car. Maybe how you found it, like that SC/360 in the field I just posted
here. Or if your car is driven daily. Mods? Maybe you have found what
aftermarket radio fits in dash with no cutting rare dash pieces? What is
maximum size tires you can put on front and rear? Drive your car to a
regional or nationals? How did it do? How did you do, win anything, have
fun?

The list is endless, and you have fun doing so, and then get to see your car
in print, and in many cases, help a whole slew of AMCers who wanted to do
something or another....now by your efforts, they are educated to do so.
Anyways, good luck to all, I'm so backed up on emails I feel like Madonna
with monkeys flying out her butt. Thanks to all who consider what I said
above, it is easier than you think.

going to write one about the Delco conversion in my new Hornet and
submit it to AIM along with an article about installing a late model
Hornet electric wiper motor in a 70 Javelin using the Vacuum trans. My
friend wrote that one on the conversion he did.
