 er, YES, as a matter of fact, I DID. It was my daily teenaged 
driver car, I had a '66 Chevy v-8 transplanted into it, it was 
indeed my daily for many years afterwards. It wasn't until later 
that I started acquiring other cars ( ie, having the money and space 
for them ), so my '57 was my only car for many years, until 
probably '90, then I really started collecting. :)

  Not sure if the denim cloth I bought was "real" per se, I believe 
it to be. And I do believe it DID stain some of my pants, when I 
sweated or was wet. But I lived with it. I also had wood-paneled 
doors, it was quite a redneck car for awhile. :)
