Just thought I let everyone know that I have just posted a page on
www.GremlinX.com with a lot of information on the Randall 401-XR
Gremlins, photos, several articles and some information I got
directly from Mike Randall.
This was a bad street car that you could call the dealership and
order for $2995. Don't we ALL wish we could do that today!

...it wasn't a total loss. I did buy a bin full of
auto radio stuff, and one was an AMC radio,
Am/Fm/Cassette, made in Japan, maybe a late model or
Jeep, or ???. I believe it's called a Super Tuner.
Anyway, I had to play "chicken" with the auction
bidding, trying not to bid too high on the
multi-box-lot bidding, I got caught out on the box I
wanted that had the lone Gremlin Openfire Hotwheels
car in it. Box sold for $6, the car was a beater, but
still not bent up. Oh well. First time I'd seen any
Gremlin stuff there in my 15 years of going to the
auction. I was gonna offer the lady $5 for the car,
but had to go across to another auctioneer to bid on
some other stuff, when I got back, she'd left already
with the box of stuff. Missed out this time. K sera
sera.

Donnie,
I checked out that section tuesday night. It is pretty cool stuff.
Those advertisements or posters would make cool garage or house
hangings. Thanks for the cool site.

Hey Doc
I stopped at the shop tonight and checked the fender and rear
quarter trick out. The wheel well mouldings won't work on my 77. We
did cut up some of the left front fender to patch right rear
quarter. I picked up a fender off a spirt up at Iola and it will
work on my gremlin with a little modification, so the rusty fender
is getting used for parts. I might be driving this Gremmie in primer
soon, but unfortunately not to Kenosha soon.

Glad to hear the trick worked. Sorry I didn't say it would not fit
without some work, but it is much better than starting out with a flat
piece of sheet metal. Sorry to hear you will not make Kenosha. Due to
poor health I will not make the show in Ct. this year. I have gone for
the last 4 years in a row.

>Scott, Even if you can't bring the Gremmie, try to make the Kenosha show. It's a one time event and the location at Kennedy Park is really great. I'LL BE THERE!! (IF I CAN MAKE IT TO ARDSLEY, NY I SURE CAN MAKE IT TO KENOSHA, WI) 'THE MIX'
