And I love donuts, which is one of the 5 main food groups. A few months ago, ya'll remember my brush with law, getting 2 tickets in a 'seat belt detail' under I-10. My freshly baked box of dnouts from Shipley's on front seat I thought for sure who put the young cop under my evil spell and he would let me go. Nope, he had tiskets pre written like tickets to policemans ball, and already filled out, and gave me two of them and I was gone. Had to go to court, twice, and prosecutor simply dismissed them, didn't even look at my photos of 'lap belt' with me sitting in seat. I didn't hold any anomosity towards the cops and pointed out while they had 12 or more cops stuffed under the turnaround under I-10 giving out tickets......two blocks away at same time a armed robbery going on in the big Randalls food store on Memorial drive! And they got away!

Recently a drunk Houston police officer get this, on way to work, hit a school bus! And other officers 'covered' for him, hiding evidence of bottles in truck, and paperwork! So not a number of them being fired:

But I know a mess of Houston police, and Harris county constables and J. C. Mosier is a customer of mine, high up cheif. All good people. So can't paint all cops with such broad brush. Same with AMC people. Are there some assholes out there in AMC-land? Sure there are. Google 'amc assholes' and a small, but obscure, file comes up #1 in world off my site, rather humorous, or humourous if Canadian eh, but funny still.

So actions of a few should not be inditement of all, whether AMC or police, or whoever. PS: my adsa, Homer T. Stakes Sr was a cop with Corpus Christi Police Department before he went to the dark side and started working at American Motors in CC. I have done a LOT of benefits for cops, including Houston 100 Club thru years, not only having some of the old AMC SW Regional Meet 1/2 proceeds donated to that or one of my other favorite charities, but also done BBQ benefits when one of Houston's finest goes down.

I for one would not mind having a few boys-in blue in our hobby it may help when we have those little fits of teenage driving behavior. I am sure Back that thing has had some bad experences somewhere with a A_H but that does not mean all law enforcement is corrupt.. But on the subject of help with advice I have noticed that sometimes when I do put my 2 cents in on something I feel like I am not in the conversation at all [not always but sometimes] Thanks to those of you who do listen and sorry to those I am talking about. Everyone should be like Eddie who always listens and replys. There are too few AMC people to be fighting each other.
