He was even in Anchorage in the early 80's.  I was told on a business trip there that the airport P.A. greeted him with "here's Cal Worthington and his dog Spot" Which totally p'o' d Cal and his WIFE, especially!

Funny, I always thought Cal was just a local guy.  He probably singlehandedly

supported every UHF TV station in Sacramento CA with his hokey ads!
