RE: [BaadAssGremlins] T5 Question

try having someone push in the clutch at the same time.  you will have to connect the linkage or rig one up.

Did you try buying a couple of 4" or longer bolts and sawing the heads off to use as alignment dowels to guide transmission ?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to mate my T5 up to my 232 six but having trouble getting it to line up right.  I think also I'm meeting up with resistance of the clutch pressure plate tabs and I'm worried about cross threading.

Is there a best practice method for getting it to mate up smoothly?

Thanks.
