My fear is not my insurance company paying off and I don't think you can realistically expect an insurance company to find a replacement car for you. I mean mine would be fairly easy but a lot of guys have one of a kind vehicles. How many 401 Gremlins are out there. I think there are two reason why they charge less for the classic cars. One most people are not putting 15 to 20000 miles a year on them and two they figure when you are out driving your one of kind car that you have spent two or more years of your life restoring it they figure your a hell of lot more careful than when you are driving your 1991 Ford pickup truck. What worries me is that dude with the cute rate insurance that just ran into the back of my Gremlin doing 80 MPH. I stand corrected on my NADA $500 or $600 value. It has been a while since I checked. They now list a 74, 304 Gremlin X with factory air in excellent condition for $2,500. If anyone has one for that price let me know. You just sold it. Now remember it has to be like new.

Hello guy's .I never chime in,but also feel this is a good time,(my sister is my inshur. agent),Be CAREFULL.You want to be covered for your investment.YES it's cheap,but !!! WILL it REPLACE that Gremlin,Hornet,never mind optioned,, factory stuff.,ie V8,AMX..The key to insurance is replacement,,,there is not alot of replacement... out there....Never mind an accurate placement of value on say ,,just a V8 Concord,that is actually an AMX(Rare).Just make sure you have coverage in the end. Also,Remember,, your not coming in contact(accident wise) with your average toyota,there's alot of expensive CRAP out there,and A-hole owners .Just lookin out for the All Americans folks.
