Dave,

I would suggest checking signals with Stu Fitchett (amckiwi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) 
in Melbourne.  He's an officer in the Rambler Car Club of Australia.  He may 
have some suggestions on getting parts locally or on which vendors are 
cooperative about shipping to Australia.
