The tank vent is plugged up

 Comes off top of tank to a tube that runs to engine bay to charcoal canister

That's my guess

Okay, I probably missed this but here goes. All this gas tank talk has me wondering if there is a fix for my 74 Gremlin's tank. It will not take gasoline unlesss I hand control the flow as slow as possible and even then it needs to be "burped" , especially the closer to full it gets.
