Wouldn't a B body de wayy too wide?? B body axle
housings  are as wide as my wife's 1974 AMX.The 71-74
AMX is about 2 1/2-3" wider than Gremlin/68-70
Jav/AMX.  I'm putting a 1969 road runner rear in my
wife's 74 AMX. A Gremlin total drum to drum is right
at 58 1/8 " or so!! B body is around 60-61".IFFF you
can locate a 1957,58,59 ford passenger car. The 9"
will bolt right in!! Don't even need to shorten the
driveshaft..IF it was a 6 cylinder car already. thats
what i have in my 1972. Fits great!! It is 58" drum to
drum!!!! About 1/4 " narrower than my original 6
rearend. Also will fit right on the springs with NO
pad moving! Just my 2 cents worth,Joe
