He’s rite, the electric motors in those pumps are not made for continuous duty, much like higher end electric fuel pumps are not designed for street either. The electric motor can overheat and sustain permanent damage.

I’ve built many race motors with these pumps and they do work fine on those applications.

I was told by my machinist they are no good for any street duty. Great for a drag car though. He builds lots of street and race engines and really know's his stuff.
