There is a place in Houston here that does triple plate show chrome, however you have to ship the bumpers to me, I take them over, get them chromed, then ship them back to you, but about $350 a bumper and expect $30-$40 shipping, per bumper, each way, however you will also find them on some of the premier showcars in US.

Something else I would also highly suggest...don't get all RM on having bumpers rechromed. There are 3-4 places in Houston that do them. I qon't use Houston, Superior, or Quality, and highly recommend DC. Like paint, you will get what you pay for.

Suggestion? Go to my "links" section and contact any area/regional AMC or Rambler clubs & chapters lised near you. Talk to them. Ask them who they recommend in your area. If no clubs, then go to local area cruise nights, take small pad and pen and simply talk to people regardless of what they have, 32 Vicky, 40 Plymouth, 50 Merc, ask them who did their work. It is a simple, but effective way to find out who, in your area, does paint, body, chroming, carpet/headliner/interior, rims, detail, restoration whatever, old car buffs will be more than happy to point you in right direction if they are happy with finished product. And it is also a good way to find out who sucks and not give business too.

In the photos here, Paige, my wife, is showing off 'her bumpers' that one was sent to Alabama for a fellow, DC did that one. In another photo,w hile not visible, the front bumper on my 69 SC/Rambler wagon shows how it was not correctly straightened. Furthermore, around one of the turn signals it was flaking chrome away....after only 4 years....Superior did that one.

When you take a bumper in to have it redone.....ALL chroming places are supposed to 'restraighten and rechrome' it. You can also have it denickled and dechromed so then you paint it same color as car for a more 'updated' look.
