Ya that's ok for a race only car but for a street car it screwes up the front end alignment and it can never be fixed good enough for a street driven car( too much fles in the front end). I looked seriously into that mod for my gremlin.

Or you could do what my friend Todd did with his 74 Gremlin,he 'brace yourself'cut the middle out of his original V8 crossmember and made a removable brace to gain access to the bottum end when he needed to get there plus it makes instealling the engine much easier.
