What a sore spot. Try being in the club business in
Houston. Schedules don't seem to matter to many. A few minutes later here and
there no big deal it seems. Me, I show up 30 minutes before my shift to prep! I
agree with old school. Maybe a sign of society. On the other hand, it seems good
people in this business is hard to find also. Some show up and stand around with
finger in their butt chain smoking. Could care less about the customer that
might have just sat in station, don't greet them at door, wait until the
customer waves at them instead of going to check on them from time to time, even
when not busy. Don't ever come up to me at the bar speaking on your cell phone
either as I will walk away from you and you will be the last person I wait on,
will wait on everyone around you until you get off the phone and quit being
rude. Many people can't do two things at once with a cell phone in hand, and
pushing shopping cart, or driving, hell, even walking! So until you move the
phone then I ask you what you want as I'm giving you my undivided attention with
a house of customers, you should have the courtesy to do same!
Before I get off AMC, fee-bay is having something
called a pink sale today, still going on, it is 10 cent listings, however it is
for a fixed price auction, in other words, no bidding, you simply put a price on
your stuff and shove it on there. Good and bad. Good is that well, for 10 cents
you get to shove a lot of stuff on there. Bad is it is all 'buy it now' prices
and fee bay still will get their little end of auction fee if it does sell, so I
shoved a lot of things on there that uh, didn't sell several weeks ago, figured
what the hell, ten cents each, so 100 items is $10 which is one draft beer at a
strip club. Ethics. Hmmm....
