[BaadAssGremlins] Re: Body parts RIPP-OFF on ebay .... "CARFINDS" LONG!! RIPOFF!!

-Eddie. I was at Mikes in New Mexico the summer of 2004,while on
vacation......right before i returned home and 1200 of us Mittsubishi
auto plant workers got laid off.I bought a 67 Ambassador
hood,trunklid, bumpers,grille,GREMLIN hood,Pinto fenders (for my
son's 351 Pinto),doors for our 57 F100 that was a RAMBLER dealer
service truck in the 60's. There were only TWO 67 Ambos out of
several thousand cars.One 2dr/one 4dr. The 2dr 1/4's were sold to a
Canadian fellow just a couple of weeks before i arrived. I HAD
contacted him about the 1/4 panels...BUT did not have the $$$ to send
a down payment right away to hold em!!!!!. So they were sold to
someone with $$$$$ at the right time. I beleive the same fellow got
the doors also. I saw the SHELL...ALL that was left was the
floor, roof, and firewall!! BEAUTIFUL sheet metal!! Mike is a VERY
honest fellow....EXTREMLY accurate descriptions on the
phone/email...REAL DECENT on prices also!! I live in ILLINOIS...went
across Iowa to get a 2dr ht 67 Ambo body 2 months ago....NOT as
described..but brought it home anyway!! I just can't waste ANY older
car parts! It's a sickness (love affair)i've had for all my life(50
years)!! Thanks for suggesting Mike..but i've been there! It's like a
CANDY STORE...for old car nuts!! BUT..the yard is to be
crushed...remember..the owner died and the widow sold the property.
MAY be already gone?? AWESOME SITE TO SEE...thousands of ROT FREE
cars..waiting to be rescued!! EBAY strikes again!! Thank GOD there
are alot of honest folks on there also!!Joe- In
