[BaadAssGremlins] Titles

Does anyone here know how to title a car that has no title? I have a car I 
purchased without a title that I would like to fix but I do not want to fix it if I can't 
get a title for it.  I live in Minnesota and it seems that it is next to impossible to 
get the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue a new title. I thought perhaps if 
someone may have an old title for the same type of car, I would gladly buy it 
off them. The car is a 1960 Rambler American wagon.
