Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Re: Column vs. Floor Shifter

No problem Lu. Since I am not a restorer I am used to modifying these
cars to my likeing. I have seen over the years people try to fill in the
hole in the column where the shifter was removed from and it never looks
right. I even heard a guy on the AMX Files use a washer with some JB
Weld to fill the hole. Since you have access to the floor shift column
get it. Even if you don't use it someone might want it, it's not a
common item. Not up here by me anyway.

steering column out of it as you said it was a factory floor shift
car if you are going to convert your car to a floor shift. It will be
a lot cleaner looking. My yellow Hornet is a factory floor shift car
with that clean column. I got a B&M shifter to put in it but havent
yet. The new Hornet I am just going to leave the column auto shift in
it since it is going to be mainly a slightly modifyed daily driver.
