Surfin' again - >  here are some inputs on the 4.0 
cylinder head swap.

If you're going to maintain carbed fuel control - 
you'll be looking for the '87 - '88 AMC Eagle
258 Intake manifold - which will mate to your
'91 - '93 Jeep 4.0 #7120 casting with little fuss.

Then go for the Mr. Gasket $18.95 4bbl. to 2bbl
carb manifold adapter - so you can mount a smaller
cfm 4bbl on there - like around 390cfm. 

The late 50s moPars used 4bbls like these - and can
be found for next to nothing.

Later on - you can buy a Turbo & join the 
www.blowthruturbo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  
group - find out how to pressurize the carb
and you'll be good for a solid 250HP on
stock 258 shortblocks.

For those on budgets - and HP crazed -
this is the Best Bang for The Bucks.

The nice thing is - the Inline 6 allows
the Gremlin to handle well in the twisties -
and the extra HP of a BlowThru Turbo will
make all that parts chasing - worth the 
efforts.
