 It is done ! ! !  Danny Whitfield's PAINTING OF MATT WILSON'S  (B) PAINT 
SCHEME  HURST SC/RAMBLER.
 you will be able to buy this (20"x 24" print) for like $60.00  sometime 
next week. You can have one of my car, or you can get one with the redline 
tires,and without the traction bars,winner decals and delete the stripe on 
top, for the true pureist.  my car has always had the stripe on hood ,as i 
talked to the man that ordered it in. the car got to the dealership on 
10-12-69, his birthday so he remembers it well. the next owner had the 
stripe painted on the top and trunk back in 1972. he also did the (AMC group 
19 parts) up grades, CROSS-RAM INTAKE, HEADERS, BIG CAM. also put on a set 
of traction bars and a few more simple bolt ons. the SC/rambler was running 
12.61 back then.  my SC has looked this way since 1972 , and it is a nice 
unrestored SC/rambler with 35,000 miles on it.( i have no desire to change 
it ,as i have old pictures.)  i love to drive it, as it was a 22 year long 
dream of mine.

 my SC/rambler was Danny's first AMC painting and what a job he did ! ! ! he 
looks foward to painting some of your great cars also.Danny's work speeks 
for itself,and i will tell you he is a great guy ! ! !if any of you would 
like to use this painting of my SC/rambler in a NEWSLETTER or MAGAZINE ( i 
hope you do,just let me know so i can get one) it is OK with Danny, i had 
asked him about this and it is not a problem,as it is painting of my 
particular SC/rambler (see vin#  at bottom left of my SC/rambler).  i hope 
this is a big deal for all of you AMCers out there, and you will buy a print 
of it from Danny Whitfield. He loves all cars and has helped to see that 
AMC's will not be looked over anymore.
