John It will depend on a couple things. First, do you have a Saginaw box? (Stylized S on it) If so, then it's "easy" assuming it's mounted inside the frame rail. Power vs manual makes a difference as well.

Anyone know how to ID a Pitman arm to ensure I get the right replacement?
MIne's marked 10PS. Car is a 68 SST Rebel 290 convertible. The steering
is on "our" side (RHD - I am in the UK) and we kept the solid columns after
the US got the collapsible ones. Not sure if the Pitman arm would be
different for RHD - can't see anything that makes them "handed" unlike my
Chevy.
