[AMC-list] Lowered stance

Any of you guys lowered your amc down? I kept my Javelin the stock height and put 16 inch rims on. I bought a four door 73 Matador it sets a little high with the  for my taste. I have heard you can order shorter coil springs for it without chanching much else on the suspension.  Any experiences, advice on this?
