[AMC-list] Mobile device users -- TRIM REPLIES!!

I've seen an increasing number of replies that repeat the entire list.
This clutters the list and makes it hard to read -- should be even
harder for those with Blackberry/Android/I-phone devices due to he
smaller screens. It has been pointed out that some devices (or the OS
used by the devices) may not allow easy trimming of replies. If this is
the case with your device simply request to be put on individual e-mails
and I'll fix you up.
Right now the default is "digest" which gathers several messages into a
single file (up to a certain size or in a 24 hour period, whichever
comes first) and send that out. When the whole digest is repeated in a
reply we end up with one large file and only 2-3 new messages. The
average number of messages is only 5-7. On individual e-mail mode a user
will get anywhere from 3-15 e-mails in a day, but usually only 5-7. The
e-mails go out as soon as the AMC-List gets the message, so you get them
faster and all through the day instead of only when the size or time
limit is met. Individual messages can be replied to without trimming,
and don't clutter the list -- only the message replied to is repeated
(which is perfectly acceptable), not all 3-15 messages in the digest
(which is NOT acceptable!).
Right now this is going to be voluntary. If this trend continues I will
start putting regular violators on individual e-mails whether they
request it or not. I hope no one is offended by this. It is NOT
"punishment". I prefer to simply change the delivery and NOT "punish"
anyone for something they may not be aware of, and/or may not have any
control over. I hope everyone finds this acceptable. If not, I'm willing
to listen to other alternatives. Mobile device users ARE NOT being
singled out! Some regular computer users have a trimming problem as
well. I'm not going to single out by device, but by those who don't trim
replies ON A REGULAR BASIS. If you slip up every now and then I won't
put you on individual e-mails, I'll have to see a trend -- start
recognizing a name.
Fair enough???
