Joe, thank you for that description.  I think I get it, to a point.  There 
are no "exploded views" of that setup, so I'm at a loss as the actual shape 
of the things you mention.  I've had two Typhoons, which both of these 
pedals came out of, and both had gone through some bad rusting issues.  So, 
none of the attaching parts were available.  I'll see what I can learn from 
your description.  Let me know if you do have one of those items, still, and 
I'll be interested in purchasing one from you, if you can spare it.  I'll 
fix the bottom of one of the pedals (badly rusted) to accommodate the clip 
you mention.  Thanks, again.
