You need an adapter bracket, if that's what you're asking. The adapters I've seen have a bit of adjustment to make sure the belt is aligned right. Almost any AC shop should have them or will be able to get them. Here's a good inexpensive one:

Note the slotted holes for bolting the bracket to the York mount. I know it says Ford, but all the York compressors mount the same.

I've got to admit that I like this one a bit better -- eliminates a tensioner! It has slotted mount holes also.

I seem to have gotten confused.

Is the offset bracket mount needed to mount a Sanden 508 on a York bracket on our AMC V8 engines??

Any body got any experience with that one??
