i once had a tour of gm's framingham ma assembly plant.  i don't know
how big it was but when i had a good look around the factory floor i
was shocked to realize the 'shed' i'd seen against the far wall was a
boxcar...

that was in the late '80s.  iirc it was closed a few years later.
