See guys, that's just it.  That car is perfectly restorable and useable.  The rust is very light.  Everything is there and relatively clean.

A 401 Ambo can be just as much fun as a Javelin.  I've owned both and autocrossed both, and I can tell you that a police Ambo -- especially with those extra-fat factory sway bars and tight springs -- can keep up with a Javelin through the slalom.  401 Ambassadors weren't slouches in the 1/4 mile, either -- they aren't as heavy as one might think.

What a great sleeper!

We gotta stop ripping them up.  I hope the new owner decides to restore it and drive it.
