I have a deep sump Eagle pan out of an 85 wagon if you need it.  Just let me 
know.  It's in great shape.

I wasn't sure whether it was, so I carefully avoided mentioning it. 

I may indeed put a universal drain plug in the existing one and use it
as a spare. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hmmm.  I never considered the Eagle pan may be different from the one
in my Spirit. 
  I would drop the old pan and put a transmission pan universal drain
plug in.
