Re: [AMC-list] Need Borg Warner T-35 Automatic Transmission for 1970 AMC HORNET 232

" From: Joe Fulton <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx>
"
" I had a Borg Warner T-35 resealed at Westminster Transmission in Westminster
" (near Huntington Beach). A guy named Joe used to be the manager.
"
" Tom Jennings, here on the list has had a BorgWarner transmissions rebuilt a
" couple of times over the years too. He may chime in with the name
" of the shop that did the rebuilds.
"
" Volvos used a version of that transmission for several years. Jaguar did too.

also bmw and toyota. there was a whole series of aluminum warners
evolved from the t35, up through the '70s and into the '80s. at the
start of the '70s it was almost the only auto small enough for foreign
cars and engines.

some parts are amc-specific, but general expertise should not be rare
- especially in socal, the way cars last out there.
