Chad, The six cylinder Javelin would have an AMC 15 rear end. It's the light duty rearend. The V8 Javelin would have the AMC 20, heavier duty rear end. The gear ratio depends upon several things including horsepower available (actually torque available) and whether the car has an automatic transmission. BUT there are other things which come in to play since there were optional gear ratios offered both from the factory and as dealer installed parts. See if you can find a marking on the passenger side differential boss near the axle tube. There should be a code there which can tell you at least was gear ratio the differential is. I have a 1969 data book and can give you the factory options if you want them.
