I only have had one experience with AAMCO. '86 Dakota PU, 4 banger with 5spd. They wanted $600 to R/R with no work, just yard it in and out.
I did it at home, on my back with no jack. The tranny is a cute itlle thing, took me 30 mins to remove, and 45 to replace. That is $600 for an hour and 15 mins. And they have a nice lift so it would have been a lot quicker for them.....Russ
