Too far away for mine (plus it's not quite finished) but maybe check out the http://comancheclub.com group. Mine will be posted up probably in Feb. I have it up for $2K the way it is now ('87 shortbox converted to 4x4 and properly lifted 5 1/2", sitting on 33/9.50/15s, 4.0L AW4 and a '90 Renix harness, double booster brakes and canopy.) Jim Blair, Lynnwood, WA '87 Comanche, '83 Jeep J10, '84 Jeep J10 From: Frank Swygert <farna@xxxxxxx> To: Strokers List <strokers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, AMC List <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [AMC-list] Looking for Comanche! Message-ID: <4D1DF86B.7010008@xxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed I've just about given up rebuilding the J-10. Need to do work on my car, and have other projects. I'd still like a Jeep pickup -- Comanche with 4.0L, preferably five speed and 2WD, but will consider auto and/or 4x4. Don't want a four cylinder, want to be able to do more than light towing. And NO 2.8 V-6! Anyone have one or know of one not too far from SC? I'll travel out to get the right vehicle that's ready to drive back to SC, will take a bus out to pick it up if necessary. -- Frank Swygert _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
