Keep in mind that bayonet ends are easily converted to ring eye ends by adapters made for jeeps. 
   Critical length,compression.extension and comparison between intended vehicle and what you plan to use it on should all be considered.

Hello Jim,

thanks for your reply. I have a 68 AMX. I have looked at a number of
sources including classic garage and no luck. Also been keeping an eye out
on eBay. Any suggestions
