[AMC-list] What I did this weekend and the Lowredo

Lowredo... can't wait to see what great AMC Mill you'll be dropping in to take 
care of that GM nastiness!  Cool ride either way.  


Went offroading at the Southwest MO Off Road Ranch (SMORR.net) had a great time 
with some friends from the BrushBeaters group.  Got home and dedided to try out 
the "Sneaky Pete" (Lisle Tools ) to remove the pesky rear main seal from the 
wagoneer 360, but got sidetracked installing a sink in the basement Restroom.  


Went to early church so I could get back on the rear main... wife decided it was 
the day for round two in our annual battle of the leaves.  I couldn't bear to be 
crawling around under the truck knowing that it was going to use up the whole 
day if I didn't help the kids, so on the leaf vac I went.  Then came the 
burning.  


I thought, I would run to Lowes to get the drain pipe to finish the sink at 
night.  I have that restroom isolated from the rest of the water system in the 
house and, though I had run all the plumbing, I had not even turned the water 
on.  When I came back there was a little puddle in the utility room, the back 
wall of the bathroom where I had installed all the pipes.  Hmm... well, maybe 
when I took the little elbow off the drain pipe it got lower than the "p trap" 
and leaked a little.  Made another run anxious to get home and finish the 
Wagoneer and got home to find the family cleaning up a floor full of sewage.  
Water had come out of the drain that had never been hooked up for the sink and 
in the tub that had been sitting dry for TWO YEARS... what the heck, I didn't 
even turn the water on!  


Turned out to be one of those CRAZY coincidences that seem so obviously linked 
but are not.  A clog had formed in the cleanout by the septic tank and it just 
happened to be the same weekend in the last 2 years that I had decided to work 
on th restroom.. BLAHST!  


Needless to say, I didn't get anything done that I wanted to on the Wagoneer... 
but I REALLY thought about it!  I want to go wheeling Thanksgiving weekend at 
SMORR!
