[AMC-list] oil warning light

    '68 343,   the Oil warning light, which should light when the ignition
switch is on, only does so if the engine has been running recently. 

   voltage from the dash side looks ok, so i figure the switch needs
replaced.     thought i'd check here since can only guess at 
why it'd work after engine was on.   

  also any gothchas on the replacement?  switch looks readily
available at the local parts places.
