Re: [AMC-list] 78 Concord AMX for sale

I wish 3 bills was "spendy" around here. Here in CT the junk yards pay 300 for
scrap cars. The days of buying a 200.00 car are over I think. Always a deal out
there but not so much any more.

 Davis
P.S. still looking for and buying early gremlin Grills and broken pieces of
grills.

Russ,

That thing has been on the SF Bay craigslist site for months.   Pretty much same
asking price and same pictures.   I think Eddie must have just noticed it.   If
I had room for the car I would have contacted the seller.  I never thought I
would own another Hornet based AMC car but I guess I should learn never to say
never.  I still have a Gremlin though.

Luckily, I guess, I don't have room for the car.  But it might be "roadable"
with just a clean-p, brakes, etc. but you never know until you see it up close.
And yes, it's more expensive than some of the woods and field cars you (and me
for that matter) have picked up in the past, but the car might be really nice if
it had some TLC.

Eddie; why didn't you tell him to roll the car out into the sun and take some
decent pics. A close up of a valve cover??? Whats up with that. A faded out
interior and he says it doesn't do justice. Well take some damn pictures.
I can understand if he wants to give it away, then crappy pictures are accepted.
But he wants almost three bills for a car thats been in storage for 10 years.
We've all gotten a car that's "been started every now and then", it always means
stuck carb, no brakes and on and on.
I'm sorry if I sound irritated but these crappy pictures for a spendy car tick
me off; push it outside, take decent pictures, then roll it back in and cover it
with whatever you have in storage....Russ
