[AMC-list] Concord that won't start

I didn't read ALL the posts, but when a battery is low, sometimes when you let off of the start positiojn, the car will just keep cranking until you take a battery cable loose.
My '62 will do this sometimes, and I have had other cars do the same.
I never tighten the negative battery cable, just for this reason. allows me to twist it and pull it off before i burn up a starter or battery

As for the not starting, have you tried a different duraspark box, and soes it have the correct one on the car..
