Re: [AMC-list] AMC-list Digest, Vol 16, Issue 41 (trimming messages)

Hi Russ, if no one explained it yet, will try to. When you hit 'reply' on your end, if will leave every message, the whole digest, in the email like this:

if you still here reading, below is what one would reply to. What you do is "cut" out all the other crap like 88 eagle mount, anything 195.6, throttles, in other words, just 'save' the specific message you are replying to like this of your's below:

I'm sorry, maybe it's my personal dislike of this whole domputer thing and all the face time lost, not to mention swap meets and junkyard crawling, that I still don't catch on to what you mean by trimming the messages. Such as my message that I just wrote, what would I trim. I understand trimming meat, hair, wood, etc but all this internet transmission is just a neccessary headache in todays world and I block anything computer related......Russ

that way the email is specific in nature to what you are replying to, and doesn't carry all the extra stuff, wasting bandwidth and space in the process. If you left click your mouse on items you want to remove....then click "cut" it will remove these extra items. If you make a mistake cutting, hit "undo" button and it reappears to try again. If you need some help email me directly at eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and will show what to do. Trimming meat, what is wrong with you, the fat along side of cut is sometimes best part. Just give me a bucket o lard and spoon and I'll leave now.
