Nope! Jeeps didn't get the 727/9XX series till after '79 (except postal Jeeps)

I've been looking at Jeeps on Rock Auto, and I think you have a good shot 
with the 2693.  This was used on a bunch of Jeeps starting in 72 and 73, 
which would match the switch to the Chrysler transmissions.
