BLAHST!? Sorry guys... I HATE it when other people do that (don't trim replies)
?and now I am one of THEM!?

?
Went to several Auto Parts stores and even windshield replacement places and
coudl not get them today.? I could ORDER them, pay for shipping and wait several

days AND have to buy 50-100 of them!? Probably should do it, but there is one
place left to try and they were closed... but it's where all the glass places
get their parts.?

?
Any chance one of you has a part number on a small package?? I did find the
headlight adjustment screw readily (YEAH!)?but I NEED to get this windsheield
back in before we leave on vacation next week.

?
You know, I am not that crazy about windshield trim anyway... only seems to
promote rust imho... any chance I can just fill the gap with some sort of black
"caulk" (for lack of a better term) that wouldn't look too ghetto?? I ealize it
would need to protect the glass edge as well, but I imagine one if you may have
a previously vetted solution ready to go!

?
My son says he doesn't care.? This is on an 88 Eagle Wagon.?
?
Thanks,
?
Jesse

Noone makes a trans mount listing for the Eagles with Automatic transmission
that I can find, though the standard trans mounts are readily available.? What's

so weird is that only a miniscule number of Eagles came out with Standard
tranny's when compared with the total number.?

?
Anyone have an alternative suggestion?? The Eagle's Nest Site did not have any
solutions, so I am hoping I can pass on some wisdom from you guys!?

?
I am going to yank the trans mount off tomorrow after replacing the motor mounts

and take to a parts store where I can just peruse the catalogues to find an
option, if nothing turns up here.?

?
Have a great week!
?
Jesse

My Pioneer catalog lists part number 622454.  An Anchor 2454 should be the
same.

I don't see this car except for the weekends, i will look at it again and
take some pictures, but to stop that leak i just stuck a screw in the nipple
with a gob of hi-temp silicone as a temporary plug.

Jesse; I hogged off the rubber from the mount and carved out a piece of poly
stock to make a mount. Just took a file or two, ban saw and dremel.
Took about an hour while watching The Sox and Yanks. This was for a 904 going
into an American but the idea is the same...Russ

What do you mean by trimming? I probably make more mistakes than the average guy
on this list, as these damn 'puters frustrate me. I use em but hate them at the
same time. Thats ok, they are just a fad and won't catch on. Now where did I put
my 4 track tapes......Russ

Here's a picture from the O'Reilly's website.  You can see if it looks the
same as yours.
