I'd suggest also checking the flexible rubber brake likes connecting to the 
calipers.  If one side is deteriorated, it could swell when the brakes are 
applied.  The hydraulic pressure would swell the line before fully actuating 
the piston(s) in the caliper.  If that makes any sense......
