correction to your "no front motor mounts, and all were flat butt cranks" tom.
i have an aluminum motor out of my "parts" 62 classic. front mounts for the
4point mounting, and its a vocano crank. if it was flat crank, i would have
done had it ripped out, and worked to get rosie on the road a long time ago.
i think that with a filter relocation kit (if you could find one that fits
that filter, not sure how odd it is) it could fit in an american.
