I'm with Frank. 
I'd go cast iron rings. They seat well and last. 
  Chrome Molly is better than chrome.  I had to boil a 196 till I thought it was blown up (long story). After cooking it the rings finally seated! 
   I'd talk to the shop and make sure what is going in or has already gone in and how you need to break the rings in. 
    With a fresh bore. I'd guess you will be ok. Ring science has changed a lot the last 20-30 yrs :)

I mis-spoke, I think they're "Chome moly" rings but you're right I'll
double-check. I only know what I read, I don't build engines often enough to
know/retain squat. I am checking on all parts, NOS vs. new manufacture,
preferring new, mostly. "New" means 80's/90's generally, and decent brands.
Felpro head gasket, etc.
