 HI EDDIE,I HOPE YOU CAN ENLIGHTEN ME TO A ESTIMATE OF 401 COMPRESSION WITH THE 1970 HEADS,UNFLOWED AND IF MEMORY SERVES ME CORRECTLY I'M RUNNING THE 103 THOUSANDTH SHALLOW DISH CAST PISTONS.I HAVE TO PULL MY MOTOR DOWN AS IT DEVELOPED A KNOCK DUE TO OIL PRESSURE DROPPING ON ACCELERATION. I DONE OIL LINE MODS AND WENT THROUGH THIS ENGINE WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB. ALL BALANCED AND NEW INSIDE AND OUT.GRRR. I'M THINKING I'LL PROBABLY FIND A MISSING PICKUP TIP I OVERLOOKED.I WOULD LIKE TO THINK I CAN GET 400+H.P. CURRENTLY USING 504 LIFT CAM,TORKER,750 HOLLEY,ROLLER ROCKERS,PORT MATCH,MALLORY DUAL POINT,AND STOCK PAN.MAY GO TO DEEP PAN IF CASH ALLOWS.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME,ALLEN ROBERTSON.
