Re: [AMC-list] 2 carb head for the Rambler flathead engines

I have a flathead kicking around someplace I tried to ID a few years back then lost interest. As for wood in a car, define "car"? <G> I have a '68 IH Travelall with 1 1/8" rear deck from the factory.

Im sure the Le Mans head would work fine on any of them!

Does Rambler have the dubious honor of being the last American passenger car
flat head engine?

Or, another trivia question I asked years ago and got no answer, is Rambler
the last car manufacturer to have lumber in the car in a non-decorative
place? (My 63 Classic Cross Country has a *plywood* rear seat back, 64
probably does too...)
