[AMC-list] Engine colors?

OK Classic experts.......

I want to clean up and paint the engine in my '62 Classic. I know the valve cover should be Rampart Red, but what about the block? I have seen gray and black blocks, but I don't know what is correct. Help, spring will be here soon (I hope).
