Yeah,

I'm still a racer at heart anyway. The article was interesting. I saw the
Maskin's and Kanner"s pro stock Hornet at Thunder Valley Dragways in SD back
in the day. I believe they were match racing against another pro car.
Maskin's kept the engine covered with a blanket when the hood was open. What
I did manage to see was that the tunnel ram  intake manifold was made of
aluminum and epoxy resin. The car was very fast. Maskin's knew what he was
doing, and that is obvious to see with his current business being so
successful. Dart heads and engines is a well known aftermarket parts
manufacturer. It would be cool to track down a set of those AMC heads he had
designed, and that tunnel ram. I wonder where that stuff went?
Some day I'd like to meet Mr. Maskins. I wonder if he remembers Thunder
Valley Dragways.
