Todd, depends a lot on what sections of rails you need. 
  The front rails are extended on ambos between the cowl and shock/spring tower. 
   If you are trying to do an entire front rail they will not work as-is. 
   If you are sectioning or looking for rear rails you may be able to use the Ambo rails. 
   A.J. At South Texas AMC had at least one rust free two door mat or rebel body. Perhaps he can help you out? 
   Best bet is to look at the Ambo and decide for yourself if you can make it work.

     I have another question for you.  I was wondering if the unibody frame rails of a 1973 Ambassador 4 door would match the ones on my Machine?  I would really hate to chop up my 1970 rebel SST 2dr to use it's perfect frame rails.  I'm making very slow progress with the restoration.  It is very time consuming to pull a car apart, piece by piece to sand blast and powder coat.
