I believe you Joe, just don't recall seeing one. Makes perfect sense though. Now that you mention it, I think I remember seeing a photo of a camper built on a FC-170 cab/frame too. Would have been pre-AMC, of course!

Search for "Jeep Camper" and you'll find a new fold-out rig for the four door Wrangler! Neat, but it's basically a tent on top of a Wrangler.

The Jeep motor home I saw (and the one to which Jim Blair referred) was a full Jeep truck cab and chassis style motor home, not a slide-in.  The camper body was mounted directly to the frame.  I looked for it on craigslist just now and could not find it.  No surprise.
